Key Stage 4 is taught between Years 10 and 11 (in some secondary schools it is introduced in Year 9).  It is designed to prepare your child for the best possible grade when they sit their GCSE exams.

Key Stage 4 has four strands: Numbers; Algebra, Geometry and Measurement; Statistics.  Each subject area will be taught separately with examples and quizzes using past papers, where appropriate, to ensure that your child is able to gain confidence for sitting their exam.  

I will ensure that your child has the appropriate knowledge of each subject area and provide them with tools to apply that knowledge to any exam question. Regardless of the current grade, your child will be able to build a strong foundation to build on their knowledge and feel confident enough to answer as many questions as possible. The learning will be a gradual process and can be achieved in a short time depending on your child's ability and determination.
